Sbarro introduced in March 2001, a four-wheel-drive version of the MPV Citroen, Picasso. The aim was to offer an alternative to the Renault Scenic RX4, a pioneer in this niche of compact 4x4. In the logic of family vehicles oriented leisure breaks initiated by Crosscountry Volvo and Audi Allroad, the Sbarro El Bicho incorporates RX4 ingredients: surelevated, big wheels, tuning treatment and permanent 4 wheel drive. This treatment is classic, such as white tail lights, alloy wheels and integrated front fog lamps.
Picasso El Bicho unfortunately remained a one-off.
